Thuja occidentalis Yellow Ribbon.

De Thuja occidentalis Yellow Ribbon, ook wel Levensboom genoemd, is zeer winterhard en met de gele kleur een echte blikvanger in de wintertuin. Met zijn zuilvormige, vrij trage compacte groei is deze Thuja te plaatsen in felle zon en in halfschaduw. Het beste komt deze conifeer tot zijn recht in vochthoudende, lichtzure voedselrijke grond. Deze Thuja is geschikt voor zowel haag als solitair. Snoeien is het beste na de vorst, in de maand April, en voor de winter, in de maand September.
